My name is Eva Frederick, and I am a science journalist based in Washington, DC. I currently write for Science Magazine, but you can find my work in Undark, MIT Technology Review, the Houston Chronicle, Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine, Eos, and other publications. I focus primarily on biology and environmental science (with a mostly-unintentional focus on plants and bugs) but I’ve also written about computer science, assistive technology, neuroscience and more. I am currently pursuing my masters degree at MIT in the Graduate Program in Science Writing, and I expect to graduate in 2019.
